CANTINA DANESE
We are in Roncà, a Volcanic Land
The company is located in Roncà, a town in the province of Verona, immersed in the protected area of the Lessinia Park. This territory, of great naturalistic and cultural value, is part of the Wine Cities association, which celebrates the places where the wine-making tradition is strongly rooted. The name already says it. "Roncà", in fact, seems to derive from the Latin runco or runcare, which means "to deforest" or "to make uncultivated land cultivable", testifying to the ancient and continuous relationship with the land. The landscape of Roncà, with its hills and many vineyards, tells stories of generations who have worked the land to obtain quality products. An ideal place for the production of unique and characterful wines.

OUR TERRITORY
Local wines: Durello and Soave
The Roncà area is known for its agricultural vocation, and in particular for the cultivation of vines. Its soils, with their unique composition and favorable microclimate, are ideal for the production of wines that best express the characteristics of the territory. Durello wine, with its historicity and recognition of the D.O.C. denomination in 1987, it is one of Roncà's symbolic products. Made from the native Durella vine, Durello stands out for being a fresh and mineral wine. With it also Soave, a wine produced with the Garganega grape and another flagship of our area. We too, in our vineyards surrounding the house and the cellar, grow these varieties, to give life to wines that tell the tradition and authenticity of Roncà.
ONE COMPANY, ONE FAMILY
Today it is still us, the Danese family
A company that thinks big, but does so with the presence and empathy of a family. Mario Danese introduced us to the world of wine and laid down the roots of what is now a reality present throughout the world, but always with the same family behind it. Luca Danese, Mario's son, is today at the helm of the winery, supported by his eldest children, Riccardo and Rachele, and his wife Samanta Lonardoni. And, in the not to distant future, Rebecca and Raffaele. Raffaele, who is already studying oenology. A solid and visionary passing of the baton.
